You can then enter a starting address for detailed directions.Advent Episcopal Church is located in Sun City West, a community adjacent to Surprise, Arizona. We are approximately 25 miles northwest of the Sky Harbor Airport and downtown Phoenix, about a mile east of the intersection of Grand Ave (Highways 60 & 93) and Bell Road. If you are coming from the Airport or central Phoenix, we suggest you travel east on I-10 about 10 miles to the Loop 101 where you will travel north about 10 miles to Grand Ave (Highway 60 & 93); turn left (North). Drive about 5 miles to Bell Road (Lowes Home Improvement store is on your left just before you reach Bell Rd; turn right on Bell. From the intersection of Bell Road and Grand Ave, travel east on Bell Road about one mile to the second traffic light which is R. H. Johnson Blvd. Turn Left on R. H. Johnson Blvd. Turn left at the first signal, Whispering Oaks Dr. Whispering Oaks dead-ends at Spanish Garden Dr. The entrance to the Advent's parking lot is directly across Spanish Garden. The Church Office and entrance to the Church are to the right, at the North end of the parking lot. If you are coming from Sun City Grand, you may proceed to the intersection of Bell Road and Grand Ave. Proceed as above. OR you may take Sunrise East to Grand and proceed across the intersection where it becomes R. H. Johnson Blvd. Drive about 3 miles to the intersection of R. H. Johnson and Spanish Garden Dr where you will turn right (note: Spanish Garden Dr. is to the right of R. H. Johnson and 128th Ave is to the left.) Advent is on the right side of Spanish Garden Dr. just over 2 blocks south of R. H. Johnson. The main entrance to the Church and the office are at the second driveway. If you are coming from the East or North Valleys, we suggest that you take the Loop 101 to Bell Road exit, turn right (West). From the intersection of Bell Road and Loop 101 (Arrowhead Mall area), drive about 6 miles to the intersection of Bell Road and R. H. Johnson Blvd (there is a large sign on the right hand corner, marking the entrance to Sun City West.) Turn right on R. H. Johnson to the first stop light which is Whispering Oaks Dr. Turn left on Whispering Oaks which dead ends at Spanish Garden Dr; go straight across Spanish garden, into the Advent parking lot. The Church Office and entrance to the Church are to the right, at the North end of the parking lot. If you are coming from Corta Bella, exit and turn right (East) on Deer Valley Rd which becomes El Mirage Blvd. Turn right on Beardsley. Turn Left on 128th Ave, the first Stop Sign on Beardsley. (Stardust is to the right.) In about a mile, you will cross R. H. Johnson Blvd (first signal). Advent is just over two blocks south of R. H. Johnson on the right side of Spanish Garden Dr.
